Cage Status Indicator
Located in the lower right-hand corner of both consoles, the Cage Status Indicator displays the current status of the Cage. The maximum capacity (or the size limit) of the Cage is determined by the Maximum Cage Size. This limit exists simply so that magicVORTEX will not "use up" any more hard disk space than is allocated for it.
The indicator will display one of three different statuses: Normal, Near Full, and Full.
  Normal
  Cage Status
When the Cage is less than 96% full, the indicator (pictured above) simply displays the percentage that the Cage currently holds. The values displayed will range from 00% to 95%.
  Near Full
  Cage Near Full
The Cage is considered to be near full when it exceeds the 95% capacity. In Radar Console mode only, the Cage Status Indicator will also become highlighted with red (pictured above).
  Full
  Cage Full
The final indicator is achieved when the Cage becomes completely filled. The Cage Status Indicator will display "Cage Full". In Radar Console mode only the status will also be highlighted in red (pictured above).
Once the Cage is considered full, magicVORTEX will stop transferring all incoming files. These files will not be Aborted, instead, magicVORTEX will not transfer any additional data from the Relay. In addition, magicVORTEX will not accept any new outgoing files. However, any pre-existing outgoing files will continue to transfer (outbound) to the Relay.

My Cage is full, now what?
Once the Cage is filled, there are two possible remedies.
The first (and the easier) is simply to increase your current Maximum Cage Size. This can be accomplished by editing your Cage Settings.
  In either console:
  1. Double-click the Cage Status Indicator
  2. Increase your Maximum Cage Size as desired
  3. Press OK to accept your new Maximum Cage Size
  In Radar Console mode:
  1. On the Radar Console, press the Menu button
  2. On the Menu Dialog, press the Settings button
  3. On the Settings Dialog, select the Cage tab
  4. Increase your Maximum Cage Size as desired
  5. Press OK to accept your new Maximum Cage Size
  In Grid Console mode:
  1. On the Grid Console, press the toolbar button
  2. On the Settings Dialog, select the Cage tab
  3. Increase your Maximum Cage Size as desired
  4. Press OK to accept your new Maximum Cage Size
The second method is to clean out the contents of your Cage. This can be done in either of two ways. Abort any (or all) incoming or outgoing files that are currently transferring. This will free up space in your Cage by an amount equal to the file size of each file that was Aborted. Save or Delete any incoming files that are Ready to Save. Again, this will free up space in your Cage by an amount equal to the file size of each file that was Saved or Deleted.
